MEET OUR STAFF

 

Our Pastor:

Pastor Cathy has been blessed to pastor a mission start in Montrose for the past three years. She is new to ministry, being ordained by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in 2018 after graduating from Luther Seminary in St. Paul from the master of divinity program. She lives in Greenfield along with her husband, Cory, and their basset hound Ernie. However, her roots are in Howard Lake; her and her husband grew up in the area and both graduated from HLW High School. She is looking forward to worshiping together at First Presbyterian Church.

Our Church Administrator:

Our office administrator is Karen Neisen, and she has been with First Presbyterian Church since May 2014. Karen has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Crown College. She enjoys reading, sewing, photography, cooking, and gardening. She also likes to go camping and hiking.

Music Accompanist:

Gretchen Karg is a graduate of Bethel University. Her two children, Lily and Caleb, are students at HLWW High School. She teaches piano lessons in her home and second grade at Humphrey Elementary School in Waverly. Being with her family, reading, doing all things music, traveling and being in the great outdoors are her favorite ways to spend time.
