Adults
At First Presbyterian Church, we want to help adults transfer learning into action with spiritual practices that deepen your relationship with God and invite God's peace into your daily life. We pray that you discover questions, Scripture, and insights that allow the Holy Spirit to deepen your faith and your growth as a Christian.
Youth (Junior High & High School)
The Youth program at First Presbyterian Church helps our young members learn more about the Bible, faith, and God while building relationships with their peers, the Pastor, and church. During these very important years, students are given learning opportunities about life-long faith exploration and growth. Review Christian Education section for additional information.
Children (Kindergarten - 8th Grade)
Wednesday Night Programs (K-8th) and Sunday School (K-8th) at First Presbyterian establishes a dynamic partnership with families in the Christian education and faith development of their children. Both programs are designed to familiarize children with the wonderful story of God's faithfulness centered in the Good News of the Gospel. Prayer
Prayer is an important part of our Christian lives. Our Prayer Chain initiates our intercessory prayer immediately when a new arises. Please call the church office if you have a prayer request you would like added to the Prayer Chain. Individual prayer is nurtured by opportunities to learn about and practice new approaches.
Mission
We at First Presbyterian Church celebrate God's call to be servant people. Our mission is to provide joyful praise and worship, Christian nurture, community service, and intercessory prayer. We open our doors and our hearts to the realization that Christ is the light in our lives. It is our desire to share this light with people near and far.
Presbyterian Women
Our Presbyterian Women activities offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. This group strengthens the church and plays a major role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Interested in joining? Contact the church office.
